Veal or Beef Stew
Serves 5-6

- 1/3 cup olive oil Spitiko
- 3lbs veal or tenderloin beef, cut into portions
- 1 medium onion, finely chopped
- 3 cups Kyknos tomato sauce
- 4 tablespoons finely chopped parsley (optional)
- 2 tablespoons ketchup
- Salt and pepper
Heat the oil in a heavy-bottomed pan. Add the meat, a few pieces at a time,
and sauté until lightly browned all over. Add the onion and sauté 2-3 minutes until transparent. Add the tomatoes, parsley, ketchup, salt, and pepper. Stir and simmer, covered, for about 90 minutes, or until
the meat is tender and the sauce is thick. Add a small amount of hot

Alternate: this dish is equally good with lamb or pork.
